        "content": "<p>The Nusantara Capital Authority (IKN) is seeking to strengthen local\nentrepreneurs to build a vibrant economic ecosystem in the IKN region,\nwhich is being developed across parts of North Penajam Paser District\nand Kutai Kartanegara District, East Kalimantan Province.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Authority wants residents around IKN to play an increasingly\nimportant role,\u201d stated Alimuddin, Deputy for Social Affairs, Culture\nand Community Development at the IKN Authority, on Saturday (28\nFebruary), when asked about involving local communities in Sepaku, North\nPenajam Paser.<\/p>\n<p>One key initiative is to strengthen local entrepreneurs to upgrade\ntheir capacity and expand market access sustainably, he explained, so\nthat communities around IKN increasingly serve as primary drivers in\nbuilding a thriving and productive economic ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProgrammes and training are being implemented as part of efforts to\nimprove the quality of local entrepreneurs so they can upgrade and\ndevelop sustainably,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Intensive and interactive meetings, practical hands-on training, and\ncollaboration strengthen the capacity and provide learning opportunities\nfor local entrepreneurs, covering aspects of marketing and product\ndevelopment.<\/p>\n<p>Local entrepreneurs receive comprehensive training materials ranging\nfrom product brand strengthening, creating market management identity,\nproduct packaging management, to modern and appealing sales techniques.\nThe IKN Authority also provides follow-up support including product\npackaging design, packaging printing, and intellectual property rights\nregistration in accordance with the guidelines of the Directorate\nGeneral of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Law.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also bring in business practitioners as speakers to share direct\nexperience in building businesses from scratch to expansion,\u201d he\nexplained.<\/p>\n<p>Efforts to empower local communities to become primary actors in IKN\ninclude the development of the creative economy through the Creative\nBusiness Initiative for Marketing and Packaging Success (KUMPUL Lagi di\nNusantara) Programme. \u201cThe IKN Authority continuously conducts\ncapacity-building workshops for local entrepreneurs,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The programme is a follow-up to earlier activities undertaken with\nthe Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, employing a more adaptive\napproach to the development of the creative economy at IKN, Alimuddin\ncontinued.<\/p>",
