        "content": "<p>The list continues to grow<\/p>\n<p>We highly appreciate the political stance announced by<br>\nPresident Abdurrahman Wahid's administration last year to make<br>\nthe eradication of corruption the government's first priority.<br>\nHowever, it is only natural for the public to be disappointed<br>\nover the law enforcement apparatus' slow progress regarding the<br>\nmatter.<\/p>\n<p>The longer the list of cases of corruption, collusion and<br>\nnepotism grows, the heavier the burden that the police and<br>\nattorneys have to bear. We are aware that resolving such cases is<br>\nnot easy. However, we cannot close our eyes to the fact that not<br>\na single major case of corruption has been resolved. Without a<br>\nserious and daring effort, the incessantly growing list of cases<br>\nof corruption, collusion and nepotism will only further fuel the<br>\npublic's frustration.<\/p>\n<p>The people are waiting to see proof that corruptors, no matter<br>\nwho, can be arrested and brought to trial.
