The choice of the next president in the upcoming election
\nrunoff should be based on realistic considerations, with emphasis
\non the candidate's honesty, courage and the will to sacrifice
\ntime, energy and even wealth.<\/p>\n
The next president should live in modesty, launch a national
\nprudence campaign and impose high taxes on luxury cars. The top
\nexecutive should also announce personal wealth when assuming
\npresidency and report it quarterly, in a bid to prevent graft.<\/p>\n
The names of family members and relatives of the president
\nshould be made public, so as not to receive facilities in their
\nbusiness deals with government offices and state-owned
\nenterprises.<\/p>\n
Transparency is also necessary, with regard to salaries of
\npublic officials from the president downward, servicemen, police,
\nlegislators and state corporate executives. A clear rule should
\nbe laid down on the criteria of corruption, punishable by death.<\/p>\n
All public officials, servicemen and police should be allowed
\nsix months to report their property and pay taxes. If they fail
\nto report or their data prove to be false, the anticorruption
\ncourt will try their cases.<\/p>\n
