The Attorney General\u2019s Office (Kejagung) is continuing its\ninvestigation into alleged corruption in the management of the National\nNutrition Agency (BGN) for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. Kejagung has\nrevealed two interconnected corruption clusters within the agency.<\/p>\n
Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special\nCrimes (Jampidsus), Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, explained that the\ninvestigation is being conducted in parallel to uncover illegal\npractices within the institution responsible for the free nutritious\nmeals (MBG) programme.<\/p>\n
\u2018So, there are two major modus operandi that we are currently\ninvestigating. The first is the trading of points (locations), that is\nthe first one. Then the second is the procurement of goods or services,\u2019\nSyarief stated during a press conference at the Jampidsus Round Building\nin South Jakarta on Friday (12\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n
In the first cluster, investigators are focusing on allegations that\ncertain individuals traded SPPG location points. Previously, Kejagung\nhad named a suspect from the private sector, Asep Yusuf Somantri (AYS),\na close associate of former BGN Deputy Head Sony Sonjaya, who is\nsuspected of being involved in determining SPPG locations across various\nregions.<\/p>\n
Sony allegedly provided Asep with access to intervene with the MBG\npartner verification team. This allowed Sony to identify vacant kitchen\npoints and cancel the status of prospective SPPGs that had already been\napproved on the MBG partner portal.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the second cluster relates to the procurement of\nsupporting assets, one of which was the procurement of electric\nmotorcycles that did not comply with regulations. In this cluster,\nKejagung has named Andri Mulyono (AM), Commissioner of PT Yasa Artha\nTrimanunggal (YAT), as a suspect.<\/p>\n
AM is suspected of lobbying former BGN Deputy Head Lodewyk Pusung\nbefore the project even began, marking up prices, and manipulating the\nHandover Minutes (BAST) documents.<\/p>\n
\u2018The budget (for the procurement project) was around Rp 1.1 trillion.\nWe can state that there was a mark-up because the formation of the\nself-estimated price (HPS) was carried out unlawfully or was\nconditioned,\u2019 Syarief clarified.<\/p>\n
However, the specific roles and the collaborative flow between each\nsuspect, including former BGN Head Dadan Hindayana, have not yet been\ndetailed.<\/p>\n
\u2018This is a single entity, but for the sake of further proof, these\nare different procurements. This is trading points, this is procurement.\nBut they are in the same area. There will be a common thread linking\neverything,\u2019 said Head of the Attorney General\u2019s Legal Information\nCentre, Anang Supriatna.<\/p>\n
To date, Kejagung has named a total of five suspects in the BGN\ncorruption scandal. They are:<\/p>\n
