        "content": "<p>REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PATI \u2013 Dozens of female students at an Islamic\nboarding school (ponpes) in Pati Regency, Central Java, are suspected to\nhave become victims of sexual violence by a caregiver. The case has been\noccurring since 2024 and is currently being handled by Pati Police\nResort.<\/p>\n<p>Ali Yusron, the legal representative of the alleged victims, revealed\nthat the suspected perpetrator is a man with the initials S. In 2024, S\nserved as the chairman of the foundation at the ponpes where the female\nstudents boarded and studied. According to Ali, the ponpes is considered\nquite large in Pati. However, he declined to disclose the name or\nlocation of the ponpes to protect the safety and security of the alleged\nvictims.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo the modus operandi of the suspected perpetrator, at midnight he\nwould WhatsApp the female students to come sleep and massage Kiai S.\nThat involved one or two people together, even three. Their school is also\nlocated within the ponpes environment.<\/p>\n<p>Among the alleged victims who reported S\u2019s actions to the police,\nsome have already graduated. However, others are still in the ponpes\nenvironment to this day.<\/p>",
