The Apurva Kempinski Bali has announced the return of Path to
Sustainable Growth (PTSG) 2026, the fourth annual conference on
sustainability, which will take place on 24 June 2026 at the Candi
Ballroom, The Apurva Kempinski Bali. Embracing the theme ‘Regeneration
for the Future’, this year’s edition marks the conference’s evolution
from a sustainability dialogue into a broader platform for regenerative
action across various industries. Leveraging its position as the first
hotel in Indonesia to receive GSTC certification, The Apurva Kempinski
Bali is expanding the conference’s focus beyond the tourism sector to
address sustainability as a shared responsibility across hospitality,
finance, agriculture, education, the creative economy, and other
strategic sectors. The conference is designed to unite leaders,
practitioners, innovators, students, and sustainability-focused
organisations to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and shape
relevant long-term solutions. Continuing the momentum from the 2025
event, which successfully brought together over 250 professionals and
industry practitioners, PTSG 2026 directs its discussion focus towards
creating measurable impact. The programme is built upon four strategic
pillars: Recycling, Renewing Life, Regenerating, and Resource Wisdom. As
a cross-industry collaboration platform, the conference highlights the
importance of multi-sector cooperation in addressing sustainability
challenges that cannot be solved in isolation. The full-day programme
will feature four high-level panel discussions representing the pillars
of the regenerative movement. A keynote address will be delivered by
Muhammad Yusuf, Vice President of Retail Transaction Group at Bank
Rakyat Indonesia. One panel will explore the intersection between
cultural heritage and future growth, featuring Wulan Tilaar, Vice
Chairwoman of Martha Tilaar Group; Mita Alwi, Head of the Board of
Trustees of Yayasan Warisan Budaya Banda; Anak Agung Gde Rai, Founder of
Agung Rai Museum of Art (ARMA); and Heinz von Holzen, Chef-Founder of
Bumbu Bali Restaurant & Cooking School. Another panel will discuss
environmental management and renewable energy, with speakers including
Tara Susanto-Joseph, Co-Founder of Bumiterra; Jeremy Cooper, Co-Founder
of Beemahoney; Chandra Panjiwibowo, Regional Director of Asia Pacific
Rainforest Alliance; and Galih Batara Muda, Founder & CEO of
Indonesia Coconut Hub. A third panel will focus on technological
innovation and industrial transformation, featuring Maitri Fischer,
Chief Executive Officer of Eco-Mantra; Jelle Therry, Founder of Urban
Nature; Valerine Chandrakesuma, CEO and Founder of WeDoo; Syakieb,
Corporate & Brand Communications of PT Suparma Tbk; and Philippe
Micone, Founder & CEO of Noovoleum. The fourth panel will address
human resources, well-being, and social sustainability, with speakers
including Desak Intan, Director of Hygiene, Safety and Sustainability at
The Apurva Kempinski Bali; Merta Ada and Nago Tejana, Founders of Bali
Usada; Natasha Clairine Mintarga, Founder of Rumah Atsiri Indonesia; and
Agatha Anggiya Murni (Angie), Nutrition & Human Performance
Strategist at 3C’s. The movement’s impact is extended through Seeds of
Changes, an eight-week mentorship and incubation programme within the
PTSG 2026 framework. This programme is designed to discover, develop,
and fund promising students and early-stage startups in Indonesia
working in regenerative tourism and sustainable innovation. It expands
PTSG’s reach from a one-day summit into a sustained impact-oriented
platform while identifying future talent to continue the regenerative
mission. Launched in May 2026 via an open call, the programme invites
student teams and early-stage startups to submit CVs and essays as part
of the grant application process. In June 2026, ten applicants will be
selected to attend the conference and join the eight-week incubation
programme. The incubation runs from July to August 2026 with a
curriculum covering mentorship, business development, sustainability
strategy, and impact refinement. The programme concludes with the
submission of a final business plan developed from the participants’
initial essays and incubation outcomes. The two best teams will receive
grants, with the first-place winner receiving Rp50 million and the
second-place winner receiving Rp20 million. Path to Sustainable Growth
2026 is open to the general public, sustainability-focused
professionals, hospitality and tourism industry leaders, students,
industry practitioners, and organisations driving responsible and
sustainable growth.
