Thai Airways service<\/p>\n
I am disappointed with the service of Thai Airways Jakarta
\nOffice, BDN building in Jl. MH Thamrin, as it is not as smooth as
\nits motto \"Smooth as Silk\" indicates.<\/p>\n
Thai Airways, which claims to be of international standard,
\nwas not willing to take responsibility for a change it made to
\nits flight paths i.e. the direct flight Hanoi - Jakarta which was
\nrerouted to Hanoi - Bangkok - Jakarta with an overnight stop in
\nBangkok. There were no reasons for the change and no
\naccommodation or pick-up service provided. In fact, Thai Airways
\nsimply left all its passengers of TG985 in Bangkok facing the
\ntroubles and risks they might come across when searching for
\nhotels for their unplanned overnight stay.<\/p>\n
I did manage to get a room free of charge, but only after I
\nasked a saleswoman, who at first could only express her deep
\napology instead of offering me the accommodation that I needed,
\nwho put me through to her ticketing manager. However, I did have
\nto find my own way to the hotel, without knowing the exact
\nlocation. When I asked whether it was safe to just show the
\nhotel's address to the taxi driver, the staff said Thai Airways
\ncouldn't guarantee that.<\/p>\n
I would like to warn future passengers to prepare some extra
\nmoney for such an unpleasant emergency situation.<\/p>\n
