        "content": "<p>Textile workers on strike<\/p>\n<p>BOGOR: Representatives of about 6,000 workers of textile<br>\nproducer PT Great River Indonesia staged a rally at the Bogor<br>\nCouncil on Wednesday, demanding that councillors force the<br>\ncompany to reemploy their colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>\"We will continue the strike until we reach an agreement with<br>\nthe company,\" a worker, Martanto, said.<\/p>\n<p>The workers were protesting PT Great River's decision to lay<br>\noff some 700 workers on May 9 and, according to them, had cut<br>\ntheir monthly salary in half.<\/p>\n<p>\"The company always claims losses, but production is still<br>\ngoing on, we still receive a lot of orders ...
