Jayakumar said on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>He urged fellow members of the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF), to<br>\naddress the \"emotional and psychological dimension of terrorism\"<br>\nas well as cooperating on law enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>\"Terrorists misuse or hijack religion for their various causes<br>\nto inflame hatred and incite feelings of enmity in their<br>\ncommunity against others to justify their actions. ARF should<br>\naddress this fundamental issue,\" Jayakumar said during a session<br>\nat the forum.<\/p>\n<p>Singapore has detained 37 alleged Islamic militants linked to<br>\nJamaah Islamiyah (JI), a Southeast Asia-based extremist group<br>\nlinked to al-Qaeda.
