        "content": "<p>\u201cThe mission of TEP 2026 is to follow up on the findings of the TEP\n2025 research,\u201d Mauladi said in a statement received here on\nThursday.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that transmigration areas produce a wide range of\nvaluable commodities, including durian, coffee, cocoa, palm oil, and\nother agricultural and plantation products.<\/p>\n<p>However, he said these commodities still require stronger and more\ncomprehensive management, covering the entire value chain from\ncultivation and maintenance to production, post-harvest processing, and\nmarket access.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is important to encourage innovation and creativity in these\nareas,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to Mauladi, an integrated value chain can increase\nproductivity, add value to commodities, and improve the incomes of\ncommunities in transmigration areas.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Transmigration noted that several commodities\nproduced in transmigration areas have already entered export markets,\nincluding cocoa beans from Polewali Mandar District exported to\nYokohama, Japan, and durian from Parigi Moutong District exported to\nChina.<\/p>\n<p>Research conducted by the Patriot Expedition Team projected that\nintegrated area development could generate an additional Rp85 trillion\nto Rp120 trillion (approximately US$5.2 billion to US$7.4 billion) in\nannual export value and increase regional economic productivity by\nbetween Rp320 trillion and Rp410 trillion per year.<\/p>\n<p>In the Lembantongoa Transmigration Area in Sigi District, Central\nSulawesi, coffee production averages around 200 kilograms per month and\nis sold at approximately Rp65,000 per kilogram. During the peak harvest\nseason, monthly production can reach 300 kilograms.<\/p>\n<p>Demand for downstream products from the area currently includes one\nton of roasted robusta coffee and 200 kilograms of Arabica coffee.
