Ahmad Saudi recounted that the ship was being hit by waves from all\ndirections in the Java Sea. According to him, the ship tilted rapidly\ndue to the weight of the trucks positioned on the left side of the\nvessel.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was just following the movement of the ship. When the ship tilted,\nwe held on to the ship first. After that, as it tilted further, we\nimmediately moved to the lower end of the ship. The waves were hitting\nfrom both the right and left sides,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n
His primary concern was for the female passengers. He noted that most\nwomen had chosen to sleep inside the cabins.<\/p>\n
