Tenneco deal formalized<\/p>\n
SYDNEY (Reuter): Energy Equity Corporation Ltd. (EEC) said
\nyesterday it has signed agreements with Tenneco Gas Australia to
\nformalize the strategic alliance between the two companies.<\/p>\n
Tenneco has agreed to purchase for A$28 million 50 percent of
\nEEC's interests in the Sengkang power plant and production
\nsharing contract in South Sulawesi, Indonesia.<\/p>\n
The agreement is conditional on the signing of the power
\npurchase agreement and gas sales and supply agreements by the
\nIndonesian government for the 135MW natural gas fired power
\nstation at Sengkang. Documentation was agreed on and waiting the
\nsignature of the Minister for Mines and Energy, EEC said.<\/p>",
