The process of clearing the debris\nfrom the pedestrian bridge (JPO) has been completed. The footbridge on\nthat stretch of road nearly collapsed after being hit by a truck\ntransporting heavy equipment in the early hours of Tuesday (14\/7). The\nbridge was subsequently dismantled for the safety of road users. \u201cAt\n10.10 p.m. the demolition was completed and vehicles that were diverted\nhave now been fully channelled through. As of 10.19 p.m., conditions are\ncompletely back to normal,\u201d said Kabag Binopsnal Ditlantas Polda Metro\nJaya Kompol Robby Hefados when contacted on Tuesday. Robby also\nconfirmed that the section of Jalan Kapten Tendean heading towards\nPancoran is now passable as normal for vehicles. \u201cJalan Suryo heading\ntowards Jalan Mampang Prapatan is also passable,\u201d he said. The truck has\nsince been evacuated. Preliminary investigations suggest the incident\nwas caused by the truck driver using a mobile phone.
