        "content": "<p>Tenants complain over poor facilities<\/p>\n<p>TANGERANG: Tenants of Amartapura Condominium in Lippo<br>\nKarawaci, Tangerang, filed a lawsuit against developer PT Lippo<br>\nHyunday Development with the Tangerang District Court on Monday<br>\nover the premises' poor facilities.<\/p>\n<p>The tenants' representatives, Victor Purba and Nurmansyah<br>\nSoleiman, said the company was yet to upgrade and build sports<br>\nand recreation facilities and a connecting bridge, which had been<br>\ndescribed in promotional brochures when PT Lippo started selling<br>\nspaces in 1997.<\/p>\n<p>According to the tenants' lawyer, Anwar Supenas, his clients<br>\nhad compiled a list of 26 shortfalls of the apartments.<\/p>\n<p>\"We demand a total of Rp 27 billion in damages, due to the<br>\nconditions we have endured since 1997,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>The Amartapura Condominium has two buildings with a total of<br>\n725 apartments, 60 percent of which are occupied by expatriates,<br>\nmostly South Koreans. -- JP<\/p>",
