        "content": "<p>Temporary market for 450 traders<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): A Rp 1.3 billion (US$394,000) market is<br>\ncurrently being built in Menteng Pulo, Central Jakarta, to<br>\ntemporarily accommodate 450 traders from three South Jakarta<br>\nmarkets.<\/p>\n<p>South Jakarta's assistant for development administration,<br>\nAmiruddin Sani Lubis, said the new, 6,000-square-meter, market<br>\nwas for traders from the Ratna, Minangkabau and Kawi markets.<\/p>\n<p>Amiruddin said the Ratna market would be demolished to make<br>\nway for a road leading to a nearby apartment project, while the<br>\nMinangkabau and Kawi markets are being moved because most of<br>\ntheir traders overflow on to nearby streets and obstruct traffic.<\/p>\n<p>Amiruddin made the remarks after a meeting between mayoralty<br>\nofficials and members of the City Council's Commission B for<br>\neconomic affairs.
