        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2013 Telkomsel is opening up opportunities for\nstart-ups participating in its NextDev incubation programme to connect\nwith government development initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Telkomsel Vice President of Corporate Communications and Social\nResponsibility Abdullah Fahmi said the company would submit its\nevaluation of NextDev participants to the Ministry of Communication and\nDigital Affairs (Kemkomdigi) for further consideration by the\nministry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTelkomsel and Kemkomdigi are always in communication, so we link\nsome of our activities with theirs, and we also report this programme\n(NextDev) to Kemkomdigi,\u201d Fahmi said at a press conference in Jakarta on\nThursday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf there is a connection or a good match with them, we may link the\nstart-ups directly with the ministry,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>As part of NextDev, Telkomsel will share its evaluation of the\nstart-ups based on the competition\u2019s assessment categories.<\/p>\n<p>For development within Telkomsel, the company will make\nrecommendations directly to business units involved in start-up\ndevelopment, such as INDICO.<\/p>\n<p>Fahmi said the approach could give start-ups considered to have\npotential and relevance further development opportunities through\nTelkomsel\u2019s ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>This year, Telkomsel is prioritising technopreneurs who have used or\nare exploring artificial intelligence (AI) to create tangible and\nsustainable impact.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty selected technopreneurs will take part in a validation and\npitching process before 10 are chosen to join the NextDev Academy.<\/p>\n<p>The 10 technopreneurs will receive guidance from mentors in\ntechnology and AI, finance, marketing and productivity. The mentoring is\nintended to help them validate user needs, strengthen their business\nmodels, improve operations and create added value through AI.<\/p>",
