        "content": "<p>Telkom's subsidiaries<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The Ministry of Finance is studying the<br>\nfeasibility for the planned establishment of two subsidiaries by<br>\nthe state-owned domestic telecommunications company PT Telkom.<\/p>\n<p>Telkom's development director, Koesmarihati Sugondo, told The<br>\nJakarta Post here yesterday that the two planned subsidiaries<br>\nwill include PT Sambungan Komunikasi Satelit Perminyakan (SKSP)<br>\nand PT Batamindo.<\/p>\n<p>She said that Sambungan Komunikasi, which will be a joint<br>\nventure between Telkom and the state oil company Pertamina, will<br>\nprovide satellite communications for oil refineries, in which its<br>\nlikely Telkom will control a stake of about 20 percent to 30<br>\npercent.<\/p>\n<p>Telkom will own a maximum of a 30 percent stake in Batamindo,<br>\nwhich will be set up jointly with Singapore Telecom.<\/p>\n<p>Telkom currently has nine subsidiaries, including PT<br>\nSatelindo, PT Ratelindo, PT Pasific Satelit Nusantara, PT<br>\nBangtelindo, PT Telekomindo, PT Lintas Artha, PT Citra Sari<br>\nMakmur, PT Celcom and PT Yellow Pages.
