For months, the telecommunications company PT Telkom has
\ncharged its customers Rp 1,000 a month for the sending of billing
\nstatements, which is categorized as a non-telecommunications
\nservice fee. In October, the fee will rise to Rp. 1,500.<\/p>\n
This must be stopped. Each time a customer pays the phone
\nbill, he will always get the receipt, which has the same data as
\nthe billing statement. It is useless and, furthermore, it always
\ncomes late.<\/p>\n
I suspect that this is just a trick to collect money. Just
\nimagine, from one million customers, the enterprise can take a
\nmonthly benefit of Rp 1 billion. What if they have 10 million
\ncustomers? Telkom senior officers could pocket billions of rupiah
\nvery easily.<\/p>\n
For days I have tried to contact Telkom through its number
\n0.800.1.22.2.222, to let them know of my objection, but to no
\navail. I can only conclude that this is just another trick
\nemployed by Telkom.<\/p>\n
As some friends of mine, and other parties, have had similar
\nexperiences, please allow me to call on Telkom to stop making a
\nfool of its customers.<\/p>\n
