For months, the telecommunications company Telkom has been
\ncharging its customers Rp 1,000 a month for the sending of
\nbilling statements, which is categorized as a non-
\ntelecommunication service charge. In October, the charge will
\nrise to Rp 1,500.<\/p>\n
This must be stopped. Each time a customer pays the phone
\nbill, he will always get the receipt, which has the same data as
\nthe billing statement. It is useless and, furthermore, it always
\ncomes late.<\/p>\n
I suspect that this is just a trick to raise money. Just
\nimagine, from one million customers, the enterprise can make some
\nRp 1 billion. What if they have 10 million customers? Telkom
\nsenior officers could pocket billions of rupiah very easily.<\/p>\n
For days I have tried to contact Telkom through its number
\n0.800.1.22.2.222, to let them know of my objections, but to no
\navail. I can only conclude that this is just another trick
\nemployed by Telkom.<\/p>\n
As some friends of mine and other parties have got a similar
\nfeeling, allow me to call on Telkom to stop trying to make a fool
\nof its customers.<\/p>\n
