        "content": "<p>Telkomnet Instan in Bontang<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): State-owned telecommunications firm PT Telkom<br>\nhas extended its Internet access service, TelkomNet Instan, to<br>\npeople in Bontang, East Kalimantan and Pontianak, West<br>\nKalimantan.<\/p>\n<p>The two cities are in addition to the existing three cities in<br>\nKalimantan that have access to Telkomnet Instan, the head of<br>\nTelkom's multimedia division, Walden R. Bakara, said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The other three cities are Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, and<br>\nSamarinda and Balikpapan, both in East Kalimantan.<\/p>\n<p>\"The Internet business in Kalimantan is very promising, but<br>\nstill far less so than in Java,\" Walden said in the statement.<\/p>\n<p>TelkomNet Instan is currently accessible in more than 140<br>\nregional cities across the country, mostly in Java, Bali and<br>\nSumatra.<\/p>\n<p>TelkomNet Instan is an Internet dial-up service which charges<br>\na fixed rate of Rp 150 a minute without the need to subscribe to<br>\nthe service like other Internet service providers.
