        "content": "<p>Telkom won't sell subsidiaries<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): State-owned telecommunications company PT Telkom<br>\ndenied on Thursday rumors that it would sell its shares in nine<br>\nof its subsidiaries.<\/p>\n<p>Telkom's investor relations unit head Setiawan Sulistyono said<br>\nin a statement that the company has no intention of selling its<br>\nstakes in PT Citra Sari Makmur, PT Pasifik Satelit Nusantara, PT<br>\nTelekomindo Primabhakti, PT Batam Bintan Telekomunikasi, PT<br>\nKomselindo, PT Satelindo, PT Telesera, PT Mobisel and PT Menara<br>\nJakarta.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Telkom's director of operations and marketing<br>\nKomarudin Sastrakoesoemah confirmed that the company intended to<br>\nsell some of its subsidiaries as part of its corporate plan, but<br>\ndeclined to elaborate further.<\/p>\n<p>The Jakarta Post previously quoted Antara news service as<br>\nreporting that Telkom would divest its shares in the nine<br>\ncompanies.
