PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) will take over 100 per cent\nof the paid-up capital of PT Digital Aplikasi Solusi (Digiserve), as\npart of a strategy to strengthen its business-to-business (B2B)\noperations in the field of information and communication technology\n(ICT).<\/p>\n
Telkom\u2019s Director of Enterprise & Business Service, Veranita\nYosephine, said full ownership would strengthen the integration of\nDigiserve into Telkom\u2019s B2B ICT segment.<\/p>\n
\u201cDigiserve will become part of Telkom\u2019s B2B ICT segment, and this\ndirect control is expected to strengthen synergies and deliver more\nintegrated end-to-end ICT solutions,\u201d Vera said at the Public Expose\nLive 2026 press conference in Jakarta on Monday.<\/p>\n
The B2B ICT segment forms part of Telkom\u2019s enterprise business, which\nVera revealed currently contributes less than 15 per cent of the\ncompany\u2019s total revenue.<\/p>\n
She therefore considers this contribution to be below its developable\npotential, in line with rising market demand.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt present, the enterprise business contributes less than 15 per\ncent of Telkom\u2019s revenue. We see this level as still sub-optimal, with\nconsiderable room for growth given the continuously increasing market\ndemand,\u201d Vera said.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, she noted that the enterprise business contribution at a\nnumber of global telecommunications companies has reached 20-40 per cent\nof total Group revenue.<\/p>\n
The achievements of these global telecommunications companies will\ntherefore serve as a benchmark for Telkom as it seeks to increase the\nscale of its B2B ICT business going forward.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt a number of global telecommunications companies, the enterprise\nbusiness contribution has reached 20-40 per cent of total group revenue.\nThis serves as a benchmark and shows the opportunity for Telkom to\ngradually increase the scale of B2B ICT as one of its future revenue\ngrowth sources,\u201d Vera said.<\/p>\n
Earlier, in an official announcement on Wednesday (02\/09),\nDigiserve\u2019s management stated that 100 per cent of Digiserve\u2019s shares\nwould be taken over by Telkom from existing shareholders, namely PT\nMultimedia Nusantara and Trihono Edhie Laksono.<\/p>\n
The completion of the takeover remains subject to a number of\ncorporate approvals in accordance with the articles of association and\ninternal regulations of both Digiserve and Telkom. The transaction also\ndepends on the fulfilment of the conditions set out in the agreements\nrelating to the planned takeover.<\/p>\n
Digiserve was previously a joint venture between Telkom and\nAustralia\u2019s Telstra Corporation Limited under the name\nTelkomtelstra.<\/p>\n
In 2021, the Telkom Group acquired Telstra\u2019s 49 per cent stake\nthrough PT Multimedia Nusantara, or TelkomMetra. Once all shares were\nheld within the Telkom Group, the company was transformed into Digiserve\nby Telkom Indonesia.<\/p>\n
