Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) is\nsupporting capacity building and green funding through a sustainable\ncommunity-based approach under its Bumi Berseru Fest (BBF) 2026\nprogramme initiative.<\/p>\n
\u201cThrough Bumi Berseru Fest, Telkom is not only providing funding\nsupport but also ensuring mentorship and capacity strengthening so that\nevery programme can create sustainable environmental and social impact,\u201d\nsaid Telkom Senior General Manager of Social Responsibility Hery Susanto\nin a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.<\/p>\n
BBF, Hery continued, serves as a platform for collaboration and\nenvironmental action competition designed to strengthen community-based\ngreen innovation across various regions.<\/p>\n
\u201cBBF is a strategic Telkom initiative aimed at accelerating the\nenvironmental movement through collaborative approaches, technology\nutilisation, and community capacity building,\u201d Hery said.<\/p>\n
The programme, he added, invites young people, communities, and\nenvironmental activists to deliver concrete solutions in addressing the\nchallenges of climate change, waste management, natural resource\nconservation, and circular economy development.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe believe that collaboration with communities is key to driving\ninnovative solutions to tackle climate change challenges whilst\nstrengthening community self-reliance,\u201d Hery said.<\/p>\n
In its 2025 edition, BBF successfully attracted participants from\nacross Indonesia and selected 43 top programmes assessed as having\nmeasurable impact and long-term sustainability.<\/p>\n
The selected participants received funding support and programme\nimplementation mentorship from Telkom to enable them to implement their\nprogramme ideas and deliver optimal benefits for communities.<\/p>\n
One of the programmes selected in BBF 2025 came from the Indonesian\nAdiwiyata Practitioners Association (HPAI) Regional Executive Board\n(DPW) of Greater Malang.<\/p>\n
This programme integrates water source conservation, land\nrehabilitation, and circular economy strengthening within a village\ndevelopment framework, thereby not only preserving ecosystems but also\nenhancing the capacity and economic self-reliance of local\ncommunities.<\/p>\n
Telkom\u2019s support through the BBF programme focuses not only on\nfunding aspects but also on measurable programme governance,\nmulti-stakeholder collaboration, and ensuring sustainable impact.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis approach ensures that every selected programme is able to\ncreate balanced added value across economic, social, and environmental\ndimensions,\u201d Hery said.<\/p>\n
Through the Bumi Berseru Fest programme, Telkom is affirming its role\nas a catalyst for sustainable transformation by providing a\ncollaborative space between corporations, communities, and the\npublic.<\/p>\n
