        "content": "<p>Telkom branches get awards<\/p>\n<p>BANTUL, Yogyakarta (JP): PT Telkom, the state-owned domestic<br>\ntelecommunications provider, presented World Class Operator (WCO)<br>\ninternal accreditation awards on Wednesday to 86 branch offices<br>\nin the country's major provinces.<\/p>\n<p>Telkom's president Asman Akhir Nasution officially gave the<br>\nWCO accreditation to the heads of the branch offices in a<br>\nceremony held here.<\/p>\n<p>The 86 Telkom branch offices are from Sumatra regional<br>\ndivision (Div. I), Semarang and Yogyarata regional division (Div.<br>\nIV), Kalimantan regional division (Div. VI), and Eastern<br>\nIndonesia territory regional division (Div. VII).<\/p>\n<p>Nasution said the WCO accreditation was given as part of an<br>\neffort to upgrade Telkom's capability in providing communication<br>\nservices to the public.<\/p>\n<p>Nasution said all of Telkom's provincial branches must obtain<br>\nthe WCO accreditation before Sept., 2001.
