        "content": "<p>TEC seeks LNG projects<\/p>\n<p>TOKYO (Reuter): Toyo Engineering Corp (TEC) said yesterday it<br>\nwould submit bids to Mobil Corp to build processing plants in<br>\nIndonesia for liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects.<\/p>\n<p>The projected plants, to be built on northern Sumatra and<br>\nMadura, would remove carbon dioxide and sulfur from natural gas<br>\nbefore it is sent to liquefication plants, a TEC spokesman said.<\/p>\n<p>TEC plans to submit its bids in August or September, and Mobil<br>\nis expected to award the contracts by the end of this year, he<br>\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>He said TEC regards its participation in the tenders as a step<br>\ntowards breaking into the LNG plant construction business, which<br>\nhas mostly been dominated by only a few engineering firms,<br>\nincluding Japan's Chiyoda Corp and JGC Corp.<\/p>",
