        "content": "<p>A somber atmosphere enveloped the funeral home of the late Dr Eliza\nPrincia Utami Pakaeni, known as Dr Icha, in RSS Baumata Housing, West\nBaumata Village, Taebenu District, Kupang Regency, on Monday (29\/6).<\/p>\n<p>Hundreds of mourners, including family, acquaintances, relatives, and\nlocal residents, crowded the funeral home to offer condolences and pay\ntheir final respects to the 27-year-old doctor.<\/p>\n<p>At the funeral home, Dr Icha\u2019s parents, Nur Azizah and Gabriel\nPakaenoni, were seen weeping inconsolably beside the coffin.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees continued to arrive throughout the day to pay their final\nrespects to the deceased.<\/p>\n<p>At approximately 11:00 WITA, the funeral mass for Dr Icha commenced,\nled by Father Valens Boy and attended by hundreds of mourners. The mass\nconcluded with a blessing for the deceased, during which the family\u2019s\ngrief once again broke out in loud weeping.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Icha was found dead by hanging in her home on Friday afternoon\n(26\/6).<\/p>\n<p>It is alleged that Dr Icha took her own life after suffering from\ndepression caused by intimidation from three members of the North\nCentral Timor (TTU) Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) while\ntreating a paediatric patient bitten by a snake in the Emergency\nDepartment of Leona Kefamenanu General Hospital on 13 June 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The three DPRD TTU members alleged to have intimidated Dr Icha are\nTherezius Lazakar (Golkar), Robert Tubani (PKB), and Veronika Lake\n(PDIP).<\/p>\n<p>The North Central Timor Police Chief, AKBP Eliana Papoteh, revealed\nthat summons have been issued to the three DPRD members to seek\nclarification regarding the alleged intimidation.<\/p>\n<p>She stated that summons letters for the three DPRD TTU members were\nsent some time ago and examinations were scheduled for today, Monday\n(29\/6).<\/p>\n<p>Dr Icha was born in Cirebon on 21 July 1998, and was the eldest of\nthree siblings. She completed her medical degree at Nusa Cendana\nUniversity in 2020.<\/p>",
