It ranges from<br>\ndriver behavior to uniformity of tariff to the proliferation of<br>\nnew taxis on the roads.<\/p>\n<p>Operating a taxi can be a promising business, and to be a taxi<br>\ndriver is a laudable profession.<\/p>\n<p>But as far as the tariff is concerned, the public can only<br>\ntolerate a slight difference in fees, and not an 'argometer kuda',<br>\nor a taxi meter that has been tampered with to run up quickly.<\/p>\n<p>Another problem is the mushrooming of new taxi companies. On<br>\nthe one hand, a sufficient number of taxis is needed. On the<br>\nother hand, there exists an unhealthy competition among the taxi<br>\ndrivers to net potential customers.
