        "content": "<p>The Jakarta Provincial Government is supporting its fostered micro,\nsmall, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to penetrate global markets\nthrough participation in international trade events, such as the China\n(Indonesia) International E-Commerce Industry Expo (CIEIE) Indonesia\n2026, which will be held at Hall B-C, JIExpo Kemayoran, on 3-5\nSeptember.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Governor of Jakarta, Rano Karno, assessed that CIEIE can serve\nas a means for Jakarta MSMEs to expand their business networks and meet\ninternational partners.<\/p>\n<p>CIEIE 2026 will bring together buyers, importers, distributors,\nretailers, and marketplace sellers with suppliers, factories, and brand\nowners from various categories. In a single visit, business actors can\ncompare products, prices, minimum order quantities (MOQ), samples, and\ncooperation opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis forum strengthens Indonesia-China economic and trade relations.\nThis means it opens greater opportunities for Jakarta MSMEs to enter the\ninternational market, particularly China,\u201d said Rano in Taman Sari, West\nJakarta, on Monday (24\/8).<\/p>\n<p>As part of optimising support, the Jakarta Provincial Government has\nprepared to send 23 curated MSMEs to the China International SME Fair\n(CISMEF) 2026 in Guangzhou, China, on 3-6 September 2026. The\nparticipation of these business actors is packaged through the Choose\nJakarta programme.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, three fostered Jakarta MSMEs also participated in the\nChina Food Trade Fair in March 2026. Promotional efforts in the\ninternational market also include facilitating business meetings with\nglobal buyers, importers, distributors, and retailers.<\/p>\n<p>Rano added that strengthening the export competitiveness of MSMEs is\nan important part of Jakarta\u2019s economic transformation. The processing\nindustry sector recorded a contribution of approximately 11.13 percent\nto Jakarta\u2019s Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Going forward, the direction of Jakarta\u2019s industrial development is\nfocused on developing high-value-added and high-technology industries\nthat apply environmentally friendly principles.
