        "content": "<p>Tanzania expels Indonesia diplomat over game trophies<\/p>\n<p>DAR ES SALAAM (Reuters): Tanzania has expelled an Indonesian<br>\ndiplomat after he was found in possession of illegal game<br>\ntrophies which he planned to smuggled out of the country, a<br>\nforeign ministry statement said.<\/p>\n<p>The statement, released on Wednesday, said: &quot;Tanzania has<br>\ndecided to declare Mr Sungong Sugiyono, administrative attache at<br>\nthe Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, persona non grata... &quot;<\/p>\n<p>The statement added that Sugiyono had been given 48 hours to<br>\nleave the country.<\/p>\n<p>Tanzanian customs officers inspected Indonesian embassy<br>\npremises on April 9 and found 19 leopard skins, 12 elephant<br>\ntusks, one crocodile skin, one python skin, three ivory walking<br>\nsticks and six ivory carvings, the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>This is the third time illegal wildlife trophies have been<br>\nconfiscated from Indonesian diplomats since 1989.
