Tangerang trash increases after flood<\/p>\n
TANGERANG: Following the recent floods, Tangerang's garbage
\noutput has increased from 1,200 cubic meters per day to 2,100
\ncubic meters, an official from Tangerang municipality said.<\/p>\n
\"We're currently facing difficulties transporting the trash,
\nas our garbage trucks do not have enough capacity to take it to
\nRawa Kucing dump,\" the municipality's Sanitation Agency Chief,
\nDaryanto, told Antara on Sunday.<\/p>\n
He said that the agency had only 100 trucks, which normally
\ncoped with a total daily load of 1,200 cubic meters of trash.<\/p>\n
He added that drivers were having to work over time to
\ntransport the additional garbage to the Rawa Kucing dump in the
\nBatuceper district of the municipality.<\/p>\n
He said that some housing complexes, such as Cileduk Indah,
\none of the areas worst affected by the recent floods, had asked
\nthe agency for assistance in transporting the garbage. But he
\nsaid that some complexes were having to wait for flood waters to
\nrecede before attempting to clear and transport garbage deposited
