        "content": "<p>Tanah Kusir hero cemetery<\/p>\n<p>From Republika<\/p>\n<p>A cemetery specifically designed for Indonesia&apos;s independence<br>\npioneers and fighters has been officially opened at the Tanah<br>\nKusir Public Cemetery (TPU Tanah Kusir), Jakarta. To be buried<br>\nthere, one has to meet requirements similar to those applicable<br>\nto the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery, which means one has to be able<br>\nto demonstrate the required State Appreciation letters.<\/p>\n<p>As a matter of fact, a small number of the local people who<br>\nclaim to be the owners of the land currently used for the Tanah<br>\nKusir Heroes Cemetery (TKHC) have since a couple of months ago<br>\ndeclared themselves to be the owners of TKHC, and accordingly<br>\nclosed it. The closing could have been caused by a problem<br>\narising between the developer and those people concerning<br>\npayment.<\/p>\n<p>As next month we all will be celebrating National Independence<br>\nDay, a day when all commemorate those who died in the war as the<br>\nnational heroes, I&apos;d like to suggest all parties concerned --<br>\nsince I do not know to whom to report this situation -- to settle<br>\nthis case properly as a token of their appreciation to the<br>\nheroes, so that we can again have access to it: visiting the<br>\ngraves as well as burying heroes on the coming National<br>\nIndependence Day.<\/p>\n<p>MRS.
