        "content": "<p>Tambang Timah&apos;s estate<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): State-owned tin mining company PT Tambang Timah<br>\nplans to build an industrial estate in Bangka, South Sumatra, to<br>\nfurther diversify its businesses.<\/p>\n<p>Erry Riyana Hardjapamekas, the president of Tambang Timah,<br>\nsaid  yesterday the industrial estate project, to be built on a<br>\n1,500-hectare plot of a land in Belinyu, would acomodate a wide<br>\nrange of industries, including steel and fisheries.<\/p>\n<p>The estate would jointly be owned by the company and the<br>\nprovincial and local administrations, Erry said after a meeting<br>\nwith Governor Ramli Hasan Basri in Palembang, South Sumatra.<\/p>\n<p>He said the project would involve investors from Spain but he<br>\ndi not give further details.<\/p>\n<p>Tambang Timah, which is listed on the domestic and London<br>\nstock exchanges, operates tin mines on Bangka, Belitung, Karimun,<br>\nand Kundur islands near southern Sumatra.
