        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Special Advisor to the Minister (TAM) of Energy\nand Mineral Resources Satya Hangga Yudha Widya Putra stated that\nnational energy resilience remains intact amid the current global\ngeopolitical uncertainties. \u201cAmid global geopolitical uncertainties and\nfluctuations in world oil prices triggered by international conflicts,\nIndonesia continues to demonstrate extraordinary resilience thanks to\nproactive planning,\u201d he said in his statement in Jakarta on Monday.\nAccording to him, through close inter-ministerial coordination, the\ngovernment has conducted fiscal resilience simulations up to oil prices\nreaching $100 per barrel, ensuring that energy stocks and price\nstability for lower and middle-income communities are maintained.\nSecuring supply routes and optimising domestic storage facilities in\nlocations such as Karimun in the Riau Islands (Kepri) are top priorities\nto prevent the direct impact of international crises from burdening the\npublic, particularly users of subsidised energy like Pertalite and 3 kg\nLPG. Hangga also continued that as part of the roadmap towards clean\nenergy independence, the dedieselisation programme or conversion of\ndiesel power plants to new renewable energy in 3T regions is a strategic\nand effective step because its costs are more competitive compared to\nthe challenging logistics of fossil fuel supply. \u201cThe government is also\ncontinuing to accelerate major targets for solar power development and\nmineral downstreaming to create greater economic value added\ndomestically,\u201d he said during an inspirational discussion session titled\n\u201cBridging Technical Expertise with Essential Soft Skills in Engineering\nCareers\u201d with the Industrial Engineering Student Association (HMTI) of\nAndalas University (Unand) online. Hangga emphasised that the government\ncontinues to ensure the realisation of infrastructure development such\nas gas pipeline networks and regasification terminals so that energy\ndistribution is equitable and affordable. \u201cThe government continues to\nstrive to ensure that this abundant natural wealth can be transformed\ninto energy that can be enjoyed by all levels of society, from large\nindustries to households in the remotest parts of the archipelago,\u201d he\nstated. In that discussion session, Hangga also emphasised that\nIndonesia\u2019s future is not only determined by technical mastery (hard\nskills), but also by character maturity and national energy resilience.\nAccording to him, high intellectual intelligence will be meaningless\nwithout the support of proficient soft skills such as empathy, teamwork,\nand leadership.
