        "content": "<p>Central Aceh (ANTARA) \u2014 A takjil bazaar at the UPTD Paya Ilang Market\nin Takengon, Central Aceh, has been packed with residents hunting for\niftar menu items.<\/p>\n<p>Many of the visitors, a number of whom are survivors of the Sumatra\ndisaster, appear to be recovering economically.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe that in the post-disaster period, we have now entered the\neconomic recovery phase. Economic recovery \u2014 and it happens to coincide\nwith the first day of Ramadan,\u201d said Sofyan Hakim, a Takengon resident,\nto ANTARA on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Sofyan Hakim expressed hope that the community would continue to work\ntogether to assist those affected by the disaster.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, another Takengon resident, Sari, noted that the takjil\nbazaar was bustling with people seeking food for breaking their\nfast.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really happy because it\u2019s so lively. We bought bananas, risoles,\nand other iftar items. I hope that going forward, people can become even\nmore successful and start their businesses again. It\u2019s sad, of course,\nbecause over there people were hit by the disaster and lost their homes,\nbut we feel things are getting better,\u201d said Sari.<\/p>\n<p>The takjil bazaar is one of the measures taken by the Central Aceh\nregency to restore the regional economic cycle.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Central Aceh also held a subsidised market ahead of\nRamadan 1447 Hijriyah on 14 February. The programme was carried out by\nthe Aceh Provincial Government in cooperation with Bulog and local\nadministrations across 23 regencies and municipalities, and was planned\nto run for three days from 14 to 16 February.<\/p>",
