According to national survey results, as\nannounced by Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi, the movement\nof people during the 2026 Lebaran transport period is projected to reach\n143.91 million people, or nearly half of Indonesia\u2019s national\npopulation. In the full cabinet plenary session at the State Palace in\nJakarta on Friday (13\/3), President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo\nSubianto urged all parties to support the smooth flow of the homecoming\nand return journeys during this year\u2019s Lebaran season. This message was\nalso conveyed by the President to the Indonesian National Armed Forces\n(TNI), which he hopes will deploy its warships to support the smooth\nhomecoming flow for Lebaran 2026. \u201cThe Navy and Army have ships, perhaps\nthese can be mobilised, coordinated with the Minister of\nTransportation,\u201d said Prabowo in his opening remarks at the cabinet\nmeeting.
