Nasaruddin acknowledged the\nmoment requires special arrangements given Nyepi\u2019s demand for total\nsilence, while takbiran on the night is traditionally associated with\nthe recitation of takbir and communal activity.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I\u2019m also reporting that preparations for Eid are underway because\nMarch 19 is Nyepi Day. Nyepi requires no loud noises, no vehicles and so\non, even though our friends will be performing takbir that night,\u2019 he\ntold reporters at the Presidential Palace on Wednesday (4 March).<\/p>\n<p>He said the government has coordinated with local governments and\nBali community leaders to find common ground. We will see when the isbat session determines exactly when\nEid will come,\u2019 Nasaruddin said.<\/p>\n<p>The Jakarta Provincial Government plans to stage an ogoh-ogoh parade\nand, for the first time in the capital, erect penjor as part of Nyepi\ncelebrations.<\/p>\n<p>At Saka Museum, a new immersive experience is being launched,\nallowing visitors to watch Nyepi celebrations on a dome screen.<\/p>\n<p>Crossing at the Bali Strait via Gilimanuk Port was briefly closed on\nNyepi Day from 05:00 WITA on Saturday 29 March to 06:00 WITA on Sunday\n30 March.<\/p>\n<p>Bali\u2019s Police (POLDA Bali) urged all residents, especially Muslims\nliving in Bali, not to undertake mudik ahead of Eid al-Fitr on Nyepi\u2019s\neve and during Nyepi Day.<\/p>\n<p>At the Pullman Bali Legian Beach, a calming experience has been\nprepared during Nyepi, allowing guests to enjoy a break from routine in\na comfortable atmosphere.<\/p>",
