        "content": "<p>Taiwan\u2019s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has released an official\npromotional video titled \u2018Taiwan Cares Beyond Borders\u2019 and a teaser for\nthe \u2018Taiwan Smart Medical &amp; HealthTech Expo\u2019 to rally international\nsupport ahead of the 79th World Health Assembly (WHA). The step aims to\nshowcase Taiwan\u2019s smart health services and to champion meaningful\nparticipation in the World Health Organization (WHO). The three-minute\nvideo was launched at a joint press conference by Taiwan\u2019s Foreign\nMinister Lin Chia-lung and Health and Welfare Minister Shih Chung-liang\non 11 May 2026. The video highlights Taiwan\u2019s ability to integrate\nartificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, and information technology\nto advance public health solutions for an ageing population. \u2018Taiwan has\nlong invested in public health and medical technology, and thus\npossesses the capacity to contribute to global health governance,\u2019\nstated the MOFA release via the Department of International Information\nService. This year the campaign carries the main slogan \u2018Chip in with\nTaiwan\u2019 and a WHO-supportive motto \u2018TAIWAN Cares!\u2019. The campaign visuals\nshow the island of Taiwan formed from a circuit of chip components,\nsymbolising the vital role of Taiwanese technology in the global health\necosystem. Beyond digital promotion, Taiwan is hosting the inaugural\nTaiwan Smart Medical &amp; HealthTech Expo at Hotel President Wilson in\nGeneva, from 17\u201319 May 2026. The expo provides an international platform\nto see Taiwan\u2019s practices in delivering precise, human-centred medical\nservices. The promotional video has been disseminated globally through\nthe official YouTube channel \u2018Trending Taiwan\u2019 and through social media\nplatforms including Facebook, Instagram, Threads and X to reinforce the\nmessage that Taiwan is ready to share its experience to improve global\npublic health. Harvard Medical School (HMS) has been engaged to position\nIndonesia as a regional hub of excellence in primary health research. A\ntotal of 21 RSUD are set to be inaugurated in May 2026 by President\nPrabowo, enabling residents to access specialist doctors without\ntravelling to major cities. In the midst of a dynamic health industry,\nhospitals in Indonesia face increasingly complex challenges. Baznas\nthrough Rumah Sehat Baznas (RSB) Pesawaran provides free health\nservices, as well as education on the hazards of smoking to students at\nSMP Negeri 27 Pesawaran, Lampung.
