"summary": "The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has responded to concerns that \"tadpole\" financing schemes, which impose larger instalments at the start of the loan, may disadvantage consumers. The concern is heightened by the emergence of very short tenors, some as brief as 14 days, offered by online lending platforms. OJK says such schemes must be transparent and aligned with borrowers' repayment capacity under SEOJK No. 19\/SEOJK.06\/2025, and that supervision assesses the overall funding mechanism rather than tenor alone.",
