        "content": "<p>TA boosts Bangkok flights<\/p>\n<p>BANGKOK (DPA): Turkish Airlines has made Bangkok its Far East<br>\nhub with six weekly flights serving the Thai capital, a news<br>\nreport said Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The airline boosted its Istanbul-Bangkok flights from four to<br>\nsix per week as of Sunday, using 271-seat A340-311 jetliners, the<br>\nBangkok Post newspaper said.<\/p>\n<p>\"We'll use Bangkok as a hub to fly to other countries in<br>\nSoutheast Asia and Far East Asia as well as Australia, where<br>\n100,000 Turks live,\" said Gurik Yuksel, Turkish Airline's<br>\nexecutive vice president.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the airline was seeking a code-sharing agreement<br>\nwith Thai Airways International on the route because Thailand's<br>\nnational carrier had stopped serving the Bangkok-Istanbul sector<br>\ntwo years ago.<\/p>",
