        "content": "<p>Jakarta, VIVA \u2013 Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has emphasised\nthat his office fully supports Bank Indonesia (BI) in strengthening the\ncoordination between fiscal and monetary policies to ensure an optimal\nimpact on the economy. He expressed hope that enhanced policy\nsynchronisation would increase market confidence, strengthen the\nstability of the rupiah exchange rate, and maintain the momentum of\nnational economic growth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will support the central bank and strengthen coordination so that\npolicies become more synchronised, ensuring that the impact of both\nmonetary and fiscal policies on the economy is more significant,\u201d\nPurbaya stated during a press conference at the DPR RI in Senayan,\nJakarta, on Saturday, 6 June 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Echoing this sentiment, the Governor of Bank Indonesia, Perry\nWarjiyo, stated that BI and the Ministry of Finance will further\nstrengthen the coordination of fiscal and monetary policies to maintain\nthe stability of the rupiah while supporting national economic growth.\nHe emphasised that the coordination between fiscal and monetary\nauthorities has been very close and will continue to be strengthened to\nface various economic challenges.<\/p>",
