        "content": "<p>Sworn translator<\/p>\n<p>In July 1994, a few friends and I registered for an<br>\nexamination to become sworn translators to be held in September<br>\nand October 1994.<\/p>\n<p>On Sept. 26, 1994, the examination was held at the University<br>\nof Indonesia's School of Letters in Depok. In February 1995 an<br>\nannouncement at the Management Bureau of Jakarta listed the names<br>\nof those who passed the test. In June 1995, I received a letter<br>\nfrom the UI School of Letters, informing me that my name was<br>\nincluded in Decree No 527\/1995 of the Governor of Jakarta and we<br>\nshould refer to the bureau for the decree and to take the oath.<\/p>\n<p>I have contacted the bureau several times, only to be told<br>\nthat the Governor does not have time. I am certainly aware that<br>\nthe Governor has a very busy schedule, however, if he cannot<br>\nspare an hour or even less for this important event, would it not<br>\nbe possible for him to delegate this matter to one of his<br>\ndeputies?<\/p>\n<p>Name and address<\/p>\n<p>known to editor<\/p>",
