Suspected robber shot four times<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Morgue attendants were surprised on Sunday when
\nthey received the corpse of a suspected robber, allegedly shot to
\ndeath by East Jakarta Police, with a total of four gunshot wounds
\nto his body.<\/p>\n
\"The man was shot in the left side of the chest, the right
\nshoulder, the stomach and the forehead... we don't understand
\nthese bullet wounds ourselves. It takes only one to kill a man,\"
\nPandji, a morgue attendant at the Cipto Mangunkusumo General
\nHospital, told The Jakarta Post.<\/p>\n
Panji identified the dead man as Alsumri, 32, who was
\nunemployed and lived in Jembatan subdistrict, Cipinang Besar
\nSelatan district, East Jakarta.<\/p>\n
The corpse reached the morgue at about 4 a.m. on Sunday,
\nPandji said.<\/p>\n
Jakarta Police records have Alsumri on the wanted list issued
\nby the East Jakarta Police for violent robbery and auto theft.<\/p>\n
\"He was shot to death at about 3 a.m. on Sunday by police
\ndetectives who were hot on his heels,\" Roni, an officer with the
\nJakarta Police Information Center, told reporters.<\/p>\n
However, no East Jakarta Police officers were available for
