        "content": "<p>A cleaning worker found a suspected mortar whilst tidying the area at\nthe West Sumatra Pavilion, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East\nJakarta. The Gegana bomb squad from Polda Metro Jaya intervened to\nevacuate the object. \u201cWhen witness 1 was cleaning around the crime\nscene, they discovered a suspected mortar at the location,\u201d said Kasi\nHumas Polres Metro Jaktim AKP Made Budi in a statement on Wednesday\n(1\/7). The witness then reported the discovery to TMII management and\nthe Cipayung Police. Officers led by Iptu Nurman Yusuf immediately went\nto the scene. \u201cUpon arriving at the scene, it was confirmed that one\nsuspected mortar unit had been found,\u201d he said. At around 2.00 p.m.\nWestern Indonesia Time, six personnel from the Polda Metro Jaya Gegana\nTeam and Inafis from Polres Metro Jaktim arrived at the location to\nevacuate the mortar. By 2.38 p.m., the situation was declared conducive.\n\u201cAt around 2.15 p.m., the Polda Metro Jaya Gegana Team, comprising six\npersonnel led by Ipda Yuda, arrived at the West Sumatra Pavilion TMII\nand secured the one suspected mortar unit. At 2.38 p.m., the operation\nconcluded and the situation was conducive,\u201d he stated. Separately, TMII\nCorporate Communication representative Emerensia Ken Elsa said the\nmortar found was not dangerous. The mortar was discovered in a\nclosed-off area that had previously been out of sight. \u201cWe can confirm\nthat the object found is suspected to be an old, abandoned mortar and is\nnot dangerous. The object was in an area obscured by dense trees, so it\nwas not previously visible,\u201d said Elsa. Elsa conveyed that as a\nprecautionary measure and in accordance with security procedures, her\nteam had coordinated with the police. This was to ensure the object was\nexamined and handled, prioritising visitor safety and security. \u201cBased\non the results of the on-site handling, the object was successfully\nsecured by the Gegana Team and the TMII area is currently safe and\ncontinues to operate normally,\u201d she revealed. \u201cTMII always prioritises\nvisitor safety and security and will continue to coordinate with the\nauthorities in any situation requiring special handling,\u201d Elsa\nadded.<\/p>",
