        "content": "<p>Suspected killer gets death penalty<\/p>\n<p>SURABAYA: A court here meted out a death penalty for Aris<br>\nSetiawan, 30, after finding him guilty of the premeditated murder<br>\nof a mother and her two daughters last April.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Achmad Husein said Aris, a construction worker, had been<br>\nproven beyond reasonable doubt to have beaten to death Tong Lee<br>\nTjen, 27, Indriani Wono, four, and one-and-a-half-year-old Ling<br>\nLing, wife and daughters of banker Budi Wono. The murder took<br>\nplace in the victims' house in Darmo Indah housing complex on<br>\nApril 7.<\/p>\n<p>Aris displayed no remorse when the verdict was read out. He<br>\ndid not say whether he would appeal.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecutor demanded the death penalty.<\/p>\n<p>\"I prayed to Allah before making the decision.
