        "content": "<p>Susilo tells regent to accept dismissal<\/p>\n<p>SAMARINDA, East Kalimantan: President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono<br>\nordered East Kalimantan Governor Suwarna Abdul Fatah to ignore<br>\npublic protests and dismiss Kutai Kartanegara Regent Syaukani<br>\nH.R.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;It (the controversy) has become a national issue. The<br>\nPresident takes the matter seriously because it could cause<br>\nconflict in the region if left unsettled,&quot; said Johar Effendi,<br>\nthe official provincial spokesperson.<\/p>\n<p>Syaukani should have completed his term on Dec. 9, but he<br>\ninsisted to staying on until the regental elections.
