Susilo, Roh talk on labor<\/p>\n
South Korea agreed on Friday to increase the number of Indonesian
\nmigrant workers allowed into the country as part of efforts to
\nboost the economic growth of the two countries.<\/p>\n
The plan was conveyed during a bilateral meeting between
\nPresident Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and South Korean President Roh
\nMoo-hyun on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic
\nCooperation (APEC) summit in Busan, South Korea, on Friday.<\/p>\n
\"During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the prospects
\nof economic cooperation, especially in the trade, investment and
\nlabor sectors,\" presidential spokesman Dino Djalal said in a
\npress conference.<\/p>\n
\"The they agreed to step up economic relations by discussing
\nlabor issues at the ministerial level to create a broader and
\nfairer opportunity for workers to enter each country,\" he added.<\/p>\n
For South Korea, Indonesia is the third largest investment
\ndestination.<\/p>\n
Indonesia also hopes to increase cooperation with South Korea
\nin the fields of energy, infrastructure, information technology
