Susilo cancels visit over protest rumor<\/p>\n
MALANG, East Java: Presidential candidate Susilo Bambang
\nYudhoyono (SBY) canceled a visit here on Monday to sugarcane
\nfactory PT Molindo Raya in response to rumors of a worker protest
\nat the factory.<\/p>\n
The cancellation came as a disappointment to the management of
\nthe factory, which had arranged a welcoming ceremony, security
\nand food for the candidate and his team.<\/p>\n
"But we understand the decision to cancel the visit and it
\nwill not affect our relationship with SBY," said Hari Purnomo, a
\ndirector of the company.<\/p>\n
He said the company had had warm relations with Susilo since
\ntwo years ago, when he visited the factory to present the
