NasDem Party chairman Surya Paloh has officially launched the party\u2019s\nRamadan Safari Team, commanded by NasDem deputy chairman Saan Mustopa.\nPaloh said the event also serves as an opportunity for organisational\nconsolidation and strengthening fraternal ties.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe intention is simultaneously to carry out organisational\nconsolidation during this holy month, to strengthen fraternal bonds, and\nto reinforce our faith and devotion to God Almighty, carrying the shared\nmission of uplifting one another\u2019s spirits during the holy month of\nRamadan,\u201d Surya Paloh said at NasDem Tower in Menteng, Central Jakarta,\non Saturday (21\/2\/2026).<\/p>\n
\u201cSo that together we may enter this holy month, carry out our worship\nwith a spirit of trust and submission, whilst maintaining a firm and\nresolute spirit of optimism within ourselves \u2014 which will ultimately\ngenerate positive energy to continue participating in building this\nnation and country that we love,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Paloh said the first city to be visited by the Ramadan Safari Team\nwould be Bekasi. He noted that the team would conduct visits over\napproximately 16 to 20 days.<\/p>\n
\u201cI hereby officially declare the Ramadan Safari Team launched and on\nthe move as of today,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Paloh stated that the team would carry out its safari across Java and\nMadura, adding that the visits would include direct meetings with\ncommunity leaders.<\/p>\n
\u201cOf course we will greet the public, meet with community figures,\nexchange ideas, and build optimism. That is a good thing. I believe the\nintentions are sound,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Paloh noted that rising food prices are also a concern for the\nRamadan Safari Team. He personally saw off the team\u2019s departure.<\/p>\n
\u201cCertainly, that is a shared concern of ours. We continue to hope\nthat ease upon ease must remain accessible to the wider community,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, Paloh denied that the safari was being conducted to\nshore up internal support following the departure of members to other\nparties. He suggested that individuals may simply experience fatigue and\nneed a change of scenery.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is no issue there. Perhaps they were simply weary. People need\nrefreshment. But the most important thing is how we must continue to\nmake meaningful contributions.
