        "content": "<p>Washington (ANTARA) - The majority of respondents in a poll conducted\nby SSRS for CNN stated they were satisfied with US President Donald\nTrump\u2019s State of the Union address to Congress, but remain doubtful\nabout his ability to control the cost of living.<\/p>\n<p>The survey, released on Wednesday (February 25th), showed that almost\ntwo-thirds of respondents viewed the speech positively, with 38 percent\nof them expressing a \u201cvery positive\u201d view.<\/p>\n<p>The poll also noted that Trump\u2019s speech was watched by Republican\nsupporters at a rate approximately 13 percent higher than the overall\nCNN audience composition.<\/p>\n<p>After the speech, 64 percent of respondents said that Trump\u2019s\npolicies would lead the United States in the right direction, while 54\npercent felt that the president\u2019s policy priorities were\nappropriate.<\/p>\n<p>However, respondents remain doubtful about Trump\u2019s ability to fulfil\nhis promise to control the cost of living.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the speech, the majority of viewers hoped that Trump would\naddress economic issues and the cost of living, but nearly half of the\nrespondents (45 percent) subsequently felt that the speech did not\nadequately address these issues.<\/p>\n<p>Trump\u2019s speech to Congress was the longest in history, lasting 107\nminutes, or one hour and 47 minutes.
