        "content": "<p>Meta\u2019s latest artificial intelligence (AI) service, Muse, has\nrecorded a higher number of downloads compared to ChatGPT within the\nfirst 12 days of its launch, according to estimates from app analytics\nfirm Apptopia.<\/p>\n<p>The report from Apptopia, as cited by TechCrunch on Monday (21\/9)\nlocal time, estimates that Muse was downloaded 1.8 million times via\niPhone in the United Kingdom, United States, and Canada during its first\n12 days. For comparison, ChatGPT recorded approximately 1.3 million\niPhone downloads during the same launch period.<\/p>\n<p>When counting downloads across all mobile devices and countries, Muse\nhas recorded approximately 2.8 million installations globally within its\nfirst 12 days.<\/p>\n<p>Muse has also shown rapid growth on the Apple App Store. After\ninitially ranking second among top applications in the US App Store upon\nlaunch, Muse subsequently rose to the first position, overtaking\nChatGPT.<\/p>\n<p>Another app analytics company, Appfigures, previously estimated that\nMuse had reached one million downloads.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to download numbers, Muse also boasts more daily active\nusers opening and using the application compared to ChatGPT during its\ninitial launch period. In the United States, Muse is estimated to have\napproximately 642,000 daily active users on mobile devices. This figure\nis higher than ChatGPT, which was estimated to have around 231,000 daily\nactive users at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Even when considering iPhone users alone, Muse remains ahead of\nChatGPT. Muse is estimated to have approximately 359,000 daily active\nusers on iPhone, whereas ChatGPT had 231,000 users during the same\nperiod.<\/p>\n<p>Apptopia emphasised that these figures are third-party estimates and\nnot data provided directly by Meta. Consequently, actual user and\ndownload numbers may vary.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, the initial growth of Muse suggests the application has\nthe potential to become one of Meta\u2019s most popular AI services. Meta is\nreportedly using cross-promotion strategies to boost Muse\u2019s popularity\nby leveraging the Instagram and Facebook platforms.<\/p>\n<p>Muse can be integrated with Facebook and Instagram. Furthermore, the\nservice is available via WhatsApp, providing Meta with several platforms\nto introduce Muse to its user base. Apptopia noted that over 95 per cent\nof Muse users also use Facebook, while approximately 63 per cent are\nInstagram users.<\/p>",
